Job Description:

This is a plastic waste sorting (選別 senbetsu) and cleaning role at a recycling or manufacturing facility in Miyagino-ku, Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, accessible from Rikuzen-Takazago Station. The work involves breaking apart compressed blocks of plastic waste as they come down a conveyor belt, picking out metal fragments and other contaminants by hand, and disposing of them in a floor bin - a focused, repetitive task requiring no specialist knowledge or experience. At the end of each shift, workers tidy up their immediate work area. Two shift options run on a 2-shift rotation: a daytime shift (07:00-15:15) and an afternoon-to-evening shift (15:00-23:00); you can request your preferred shift up to 3 days in advance. Shifts run Monday to Friday with Saturdays and Sundays off. Daily payment (日払い hibarai) is available via smartphone application with funds receivable within approximately 5 minutes of approval.
