Job Description:

This is a warehouse goods receiving, sorting, and internal delivery role at a factory in Nagaokakyo City, Kyoto Prefecture, reachable from JR Nagaokakyo Station by free shuttle bus (5 minutes) or on foot (12 minutes). Tasks include receiving incoming fabricated metal parts, moving them to storage or work areas using a hand lift (ハンドリフト hando-rifuto) and trolley, sorting various parts by checking engineering drawings (図面 zumen) and packing them by internal delivery destination, and delivering packed goods around the factory. During quieter periods, simple parts finishing work (blasting and electrochemical polishing) and PC data entry are also assigned. Most parts weigh 5-10 kg and are handled individually; some items up to approximately 20 kg require care. As this is not a line assembly role, you work at your own pace with variation across different task types throughout the day. The workplace is largely air-conditioned, though some tasks involve moving between indoor and outdoor areas. Work clothing is long-sleeve (rolling up permitted); safety shoes, gloves, and a helmet are provided. Driving licence holders must submit proof of voluntary insurance for car or motorcycle commuting. Parking and bicycle parking fees are deducted from pay. Paid rest breaks (有償休憩 yuushou kyuukei) of 10 minutes at 10:20 and 17:20 are included in the wage. Catered lunches (仕出し弁当 shidashi-bento, approx. 350 yen) can be ordered. A convenience store is 3 minutes walk away.
