Job Description:

This is a café staff role at Spicier (スパイシア), a specialist curry bread and masala chai shop inside Shibuya Scramble Square, directly connected to Shibuya Station in Tokyo, serving handmade additive-free Indian curry bread fried fresh to order and whole-spice brewed chai. Tasks include customer service and sales, cashier operation, simple kitchen support (pressing buttons to dispense drinks), and store cleaning; 2-3 staff work each shift in a calm, friendly environment where chatting with regulars is part of the job. Some prior customer service experience is required; spice or Indian food enthusiasts are especially welcome. Shifts run 2-5 days per week on a rotating schedule within a window of 09:30-18:30 or 12:30-21:30 (8 hours actual work with 60-minute break, or shorter 7-hour shifts negotiable). Daily payment (日払い hibarai) available through Dimple. Transport allowance (交通費 koutsuuhi) fully covered. Daimaru Matsuzakaya group shopping discount 10% off.
