Job Description:

This is a product inspection and measurement role at a factory producing marine transmission units in Kita-ku, Saitama, eight minutes walk from Yoshinohara Station on the New Shuttle line. Work involves checking operations against technical drawings and specifications, measuring components with vernier calipers and micrometers, recording dimensional data, entering numerical data into Excel, and creating delivery documents. Reach forklift operation is also included for about 20% of the work — forklift licence holders only for this portion. No prior inspection experience is needed; many current staff started from scratch and the company provides full support. The shift runs from 08:45 to 17:15 Monday to Friday (45 minutes break) with monthly overtime of around 10-20 hours. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are off, with GW, summer and year-end holidays included. Weekly payment (週払い shuubarai) is available. Furnished dormitory accommodation is available (1R/1K, approx. 50,000 yen/month including utilities; within 1.5 km of worksite). Car, motorcycle, bicycle and walking commutes are all welcome.

Wage:
