Job Description:
This is a cooking assistant (調理補助 chourihoho) role in the hospital kitchen (厨房 chuubou) of Senshuudo Hospital in Gifu city, which relocated to a brand-new facility in 2022. Work involves portioning pre-prepared chilled meals onto trays, setting up patient meal trays accurately, and washing dishes and cleaning the kitchen after service. No actual cooking is required — chilled prepared food is used, so the work is straightforward and easy to learn from day one. Shifts run either early morning (06:00-11:00) or midday (10:30-15:30), both five hours with no overtime, allowing for a predictable finish time every day. Training (研修 kenshuu) includes video manuals and recipe sheets, and you will work alongside a registered dietitian and senior staff. A uniform (制服 seifuku) is provided, and car, motorbike, and bicycle commuting are all welcome with free parking on site.
