Job Description:

This is a hall staff role at Kakurega Robataya Gaburi Shijo-Karasuma, a popular straw-fire (藁焼き warayaki) robata izakaya one minute from Shijo Station in central Kyoto, known for its warm atmosphere and loyal regular customers. Work covers table guidance, order taking, food and drink service, table setting, and checkout — kitchen shifts are also available if preferred. The store has a lively, social atmosphere and currently operates with a team of 10s-20s female staff predominantly from local universities including Doshisha and Kyoto Sangyo. Shifts run from 17:00 into the early morning (up to 03:00 on late nights), with a minimum of two hours per shift from two days per week; finishing by the last train is possible on most nights due to a 23:00 last order policy on the upper floor. Deep-night hours (22:00-25:00) earn 1,500円/hour (statutory 25% premium on 1,200円 base), and wage payment by hand cash (手渡し tewatashi) is available. High school students are not accepted as the venue is fully smoking-permitted. Foreign nationals require Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level 2 or above.

Wage:

1,200円 (per hour) Deep-night rate (22:00-25:00): 1,500円/hour (statutory 25% premium). Training period (approx. 60 hours): 1,180円/hour. Salary increases available; earlier increases possible based on shift contribution and skills.
