Job Description:

This is a kitchen staff role at the grand opening of Hamazushi Ashikaga Horikomi, a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant in Ashikaga, Tochigi, recruiting 80 opening staff. The main task is placing toppings (ネタ neta) on shaped shari rice balls and loading finished sushi onto the straight lane belt system; no knife skills or sushi experience are needed. New staff start by simply loading sushi made by senior colleagues onto the lane before gradually taking on preparation tasks. A clear three-level skill system (初級/中級/上級 shokyu/chukyu/jokyu) means your wage increases as your abilities grow. Advance payment (前払い maekashi) is available; a 55% staff meal discount on in-store menu items is also provided. Minors under 18 may only work between 05:00 and 21:00 per Japanese labour law.

Wage:

1,180円 (per hour) Late-night rate from 22:00: 1,475円. Weekend and public holiday premium: +70 yen/hour. High school student base rate: 1,150円. Skill-based wage increase system (3 levels per role).
