Job Description:
This is a hall and kitchen staff role at Asakusa Sakezen Ichimono, a popular traditional Japanese nabe (hot pot) restaurant known for negima nabe (tuna and leek hot pot), located in the backstreets of Asakusa, 3 minutes walk from Tsukuba Express Asakusa Station. Hall duties include taking orders and serving food; kitchen duties involve simple plating and frying — almost no knife work, making it accessible for first-timers. The restaurant operates two locations (main hall and annex) and is a media-featured venue that regularly hosts TV shoots and celebrity guests. Shifts run from 15:00-22:30 (kitchen) or 16:00-22:30 / 17:00-22:30 (hall), from 4 hours a day, 1 day a week. Wages are paid in cash (手渡し tewatashi) at month-end; partial daily payment of 2,500 yen per day is also available. Non-native Japanese speakers must hold JLPT N1 or have business-level Japanese, as customer-facing service is involved.
Wage:
1,400円 (per hour)
Salary increase based on skills and ability (up to 1,900円). Research period: 1,300円 (high school students) / 1,350円 (university students) for first 20 shifts, then 1,400円. Monthly bonus of 5,000 yen for 16+ days worked per month. Salary increase for Friday and Saturday availability.
