Job Description:
This is a hall staff role at Iwashi Ryori no Mise Airaku, a 30-year-old specialist iwashi (sardine) cuisine restaurant located just 1 minute walk from Osaki Station in Shinagawa, Tokyo — the shop is visible at the bottom of the station stairs. Hall duties include greeting and seating guests, taking orders and serving food and drinks, handling payment, and clearing tables; no kitchen prep or cooking involvement is required for this role. The restaurant serves a largely older, regular clientele, creating a calm and courteous service environment where social etiquette and communication skills develop naturally. Shifts run 16:00-23:00 (minimum 4 hours), from 2 days a week; fixed-day arrangements are available so your schedule stays predictable. The store is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays — ideal for those who want weekends free. Wages are paid in cash (手渡し tewatashi); foreigners and international students are welcome.
