Job Description:

This is a dishwashing and kitchen cleaning role at the in-house restaurant of SOMPOcare Laviere Heiwa-Odori, a senior care facility in Hiroshima's Nishi-ku. The role involves washing approximately 60 sets of tableware per shift using an industrial dishwasher, with minimal hand-washing required only for heavily soiled items. Duties include scraping food waste, loading the dishwasher, sorting by type, running the dryer, cleaning equipment (dishwasher, oven, sink, floor), and taking out rubbish. No specialist knowledge or qualifications are required; a roughly 2-week on-the-job training period with a checklist is provided. The fixed shift is 17:30 to 20:30, three days or more per week — the schedule is predictable and suited to homemakers and those fitting work around other commitments. Staff with an interest in cooking can request a position change to the kitchen cooking team. Japanese language level of JLPT N3 or above is required; daily conversational Japanese reading and writing is needed. The facility is located just 1 minute walk from Nishi-Kannon-machi Station on the Hiroshima Electric Railway.

Wage:

1,140円 (per hour) Early-morning premium (05:00-08:00): +100円/hour / Working improvement allowance included (social insurance enrollees receive additional +20円/hour) / Overtime pay paid separately
