Job Description:

This is a sales and customer service role at a specialist dashimaki tamago (Japanese rolled omelette) shop inside Takashimaya Kyoto department store, directly connected to Kawaramachi Station. Duties include customer service (接客 settai), cashier work, product display and arrangement, packing dashimaki into takeaway containers, and opening and closing preparation. Department store cashier experience is required; prior Takashimaya register experience is particularly preferred. The store attracts 30-50 year-old female staff members and has a friendly, settled atmosphere. Two shift slots are available — a morning slot (09:00-17:30) and an afternoon slot (11:45-20:15) — each with a 1.5-hour break and 7 hours actual working time; shifts are submitted monthly with up to 3 preferred days off per month accepted. Advance payment (前払い maebarai) of earned wages is available under company regulations. Transport allowance (交通費 koutsuuhi) is fully covered.
