Job Description:

Prepare sashimi and sushi toppings in the backyard of Sanmarukawa, a fresh seafood shop inside the Mikage Classe shopping centre in Kobe's Higashinada district. Tasks include cutting pre-portioned fish fillets into sashimi and sushi-sized pieces (包丁 houchou knife work required), plating and packing finished cuts, placing neta (ネタ neta — toppings) onto shari (シャリ shari — rice), attaching price stickers, restocking the display, and light kitchen cleaning. No customer service or register work is involved — all tasks are in the backyard (バックヤード backyard) only, and whole-fish processing is not required. The shift runs 08:00-17:00 with a 60-minute break (actual 8 hours); overtime is virtually non-existent (under 5 hours per month). Either Saturday or Sunday availability is welcomed; the schedule runs 4 or more days per week through a monthly self-reported shift system (シフト制 shifuto-sei). Daily payment (日払い hibarai) and weekly payment (週払い shuubarai) are both available. This is a dispatch (派遣 haken) placement through Admic Co., Ltd.
