Job Description:
This is a hall service role at a long-established sukiyaki and shabu-shabu restaurant in the Kiyamachi Sanjo area of Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto City, accessible from Kyoto-Shiyakusho-mae Station on the Kyoto Municipal Subway Tozai Line. The restaurant occupies a prominent location in central Kyoto and serves traditional Japanese hot-pot cuisine in a formal dining setting. Hall duties include guiding guests to private dining rooms, taking orders, carrying dishes, preparing sukiyaki, shabu-shabu and oil-grilled items tableside in front of guests, preparing drinks, and providing full service throughout the meal. Staff wear traditional Japanese dress (和装 waso) for service — a distinctive feature that offers a unique workplace experience. Two shift patterns are available: 11:00-21:00 and 12:00-22:00 (both 8 hours actual work with 2-hour breaks), running 3 or more days per week; weekend and public holiday shifts can be negotiated. Daily payment (日払い hibarai) and weekly payment are both available, and no resume is required to apply.
