Job Description:

This is a cooking assistant position at Cocofan Kitanagase, a residential care facility in Okayama City, 11 minutes walk from Kitanagase Station on the JR Sanyo Main Line. Work involves preparing and plating individual meal trays for residents using pre-cooked items — including miso soup preparation, warming complete dishes, portioning into bowls, assembling trays with rice, miso soup, and side dishes, and washing dishes using an automatic dishwasher. The kitchen uses fully prepared food products so no advanced cooking skill is required — many current staff started with no food service experience at all. Two shift slots are available: early morning (05:30-10:30) and afternoon (15:00-19:00), both 4 hours with no overtime, making it easy to combine with other work or family commitments. Hours before 08:00 and after 18:00 attract a 100 yen per hour bonus on top of the base rate.

Wage:

1,047円 (per hour) Early morning (before 08:00) and evening (after 18:00) hours: additional 100 yen per hour bonus on base rate. Qualification allowance for registered dietitians, nutritionists, and cooking licence holders.
