Job Description:

This is a kitchen staff position at Sakanayadojo Kashiwa-Tanaka, a tuna-focused izakaya, 5 minutes walk from Kashiwa-Tanaka Station on the Tsukuba Express in Kashiwa, Chiba. Kitchen duties begin with simple tasks such as plating and washing up, then gradually expand to vegetable prep, knife work, frying and grilling assistance, and ingredient management as skills develop. Training (研修 kenshuu) covers 40 hours with instructional videos for each task — no prior cooking experience is necessary. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are available for 200 yen per meal, and daily payment (日払い hibarai), weekly payment (週払い shuubarai), and advance payment (前払い maebarai) options are all available. Shifts from 22:00 onward are for applicants aged 18 and over only (Japanese labour law). Minimum contract period of 3 months. Car commuting is accepted. Hair colour and style are flexible.
