Job Description:

This is a hall and kitchen staff position at Sake Tokidoki Teppan Tsudoiba 46, a lively teppan izakaya in Takadanobaba, Shinjuku, 2 minutes walk from Nishi-Waseda Station on the Tokyo Metro Fukutoshin Line. Hall duties include welcoming and seating guests, taking orders, serving food, clearing tables, and cashier operation. Kitchen duties cover cooking, plating, and dishwashing. The store has many regulars and a relaxed, social atmosphere — shifts are available from 18:00 through to 05:00 across flexible time slots, making it easy to fit around school or a second job. Cash-in-hand weekly payment (手渡し tewatashi / 週払い shuubarai) is available. Late-night hours from 22:00 pay 1,600 yen per hour (25% premium). Hair colour and style, nail polish, piercings, accessories, and beards are all permitted. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are available with menu or custom requests. Japanese language proficiency of N2 or above is required. Applicants must hold a valid residence status in Japan.
