Job Description:

This is a hall and kitchen staff position at Niku no Yamagyu Ryogoku, a yakiniku bento shop part of the Toridoll Group (same company as Marugame Seimen), located directly outside JR Ryogoku Station's east exit in Sumida, Tokyo. Duties include welcoming guests, taking orders, cutting fresh meat to order, charcoal-grilling, preparing and selling bento boxes, cashier operation using a touch-panel register, dishwashing using a commercial dishwasher, and store cleaning. The open kitchen format means working directly in view of customers, with cooking and serving happening side by side. Recipes and manuals are provided — no experience is needed and most staff feel comfortable within about a month. International students (留学生) are explicitly welcome. Late-night hours from 22:00 attract a 25% wage increase (深夜割増 shinya-warimashi). Staff meals (まかない makanai) of 120 yen per meal up to 800 yen worth are available, including takeout. Minimum contract period of 3 months. Hair colour and style are flexible.

Wage:

1,300円 (per hour) Late-night premium (深夜割増 shinya-warimashi): 25% increase on base rate for hours worked from 22:00 onward. Salary increase: 10 yen per hour for every 1,000 hours worked (up to a cap).
