Job Description:

This is a kitchen staff position at Sakana Sakaba Uosei Nishi-Kasai Kitaguchi, a seafood izakaya on the 2nd floor of Kasai Sangyo Building, just 1 minute walk from Nishi-Kasai Station's north exit on the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line. Kitchen duties start with simple tasks such as plating and washing up, then gradually expand to vegetable prep, knife work, frying and grilling assistance, and ingredient management as skills develop. The core working hours are evening (19:00-23:00), making this especially suited to university students who can come straight from campus — shifts from 22:00 onward are for applicants aged 18 and over only (Japanese labour law). Training (研修 kenshuu) covers 40 hours with instructional videos for each task — no prior cooking experience is necessary. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are available for 200 yen per meal, and daily payment (日払い hibarai), weekly payment (週払い shuubarai), and advance payment (前払い maebarai) options are all available.
