Job Description:

This is a kitchen support role at a seafood izakaya (居酒屋 izakaya) in Sapporo's Kita-ku, just 2 minutes from Kita-24-jo Station. Working in this seafood-specialist kitchen, you will gradually pick up knife skills and fish knowledge that are just as useful at home as at work — a genuine plus for students living alone. Shifts run from 14:00 to 24:00, with a minimum of 3 hours from 1 day per week, making it easy to work after class or around other commitments. A 40-hour training period (研修 kenshuu) is provided with tutorial videos for each task, so no cooking experience is required to start. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are available for just 200 yen per meal, helping cut living costs. Daily payment (日払い hibarai), weekly payment (週払い shuubarai), and advance payment (前払い maebarai) are all available. Late-night shifts from 22:00 onward are restricted to applicants aged 18 and over (Japanese labour law). Minimum contract period of 3 months required.
