Job Description:

This is a kitchen support role at a casual izakaya (居酒屋 izakaya) just 1 minute from Tsuchiura Station West Exit, operated by Chimney Co., Ltd. Shifts are centred on the 19:00-23:00 evening window, making it easy to come straight from university or work without a long commute. Work involves plating, simple food prep, frying and grilling assistance, ingredient restocking, dishwashing, and kitchen cleaning — starting with the easiest tasks and building up gradually. A 40-hour training period (研修 kenshuu) is provided with tutorial videos for every task, so no cooking experience is needed. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are available for just 200 yen per meal — helpful for anyone living alone and watching food costs. Daily payment (日払い hibarai), weekly payment (週払い shuubarai), and advance payment (前払い maebarai) are all available. Late-night shifts from 22:00 onward are restricted to applicants aged 18 and over (Japanese labour law). Minimum contract period of 3 months required.
