Job Description:

This is a kitchen support role at a seafood izakaya (居酒屋 izakaya) in Natori, Miyagi, just 3 minutes from Mori-no-Seki-no-Shita Station on the Sendai Airport Access Line. Shifts are centred on the 19:00-23:00 evening window, making it easy to work after university or other daytime commitments without a long commute. Kitchen tasks start with simple plating and washing-up, then progress to prep, frying, and grilling assistance as you build confidence — with tutorial videos for every step of the way. A 40-hour training period (研修 kenshuu) means no cooking experience is needed to start. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are available for just 200 yen per meal, helping cut food costs for students living alone. Daily payment (日払い hibarai), weekly payment (週払い shuubarai), and advance payment (前払い maebarai) are all available. Late-night shifts from 22:00 onward are restricted to applicants aged 18 and over (Japanese labour law). Minimum contract period of 3 months required.
