Job Description:

This is a kitchen and dishwashing support role at a school lunch centre in Okayama City, operated by GSF Co., Ltd. (a member of the Greenhouse Group). Work involves washing the cooking utensils and tableware used by chefs and dietitians after the lunch service — a straightforward, repetitive task with no cooking required. Shifts run Monday to Friday from 11:30 to 16:00 (4.5 hours), with weekends and public holidays off — and school holidays such as GW and summer break provide additional rest periods that suit family schedules well. Overtime rarely occurs, and shifts can be adjusted around family events or children's school activities. A 3-month training period (研修 kenshuu) at 1,047 yen applies before the standard rate of 1,050 yen begins. No prior experience is needed — many current staff started without any food-service background. Car and bike commuting are permitted, and transportation allowance is provided.
