Job Description:

This is a hall staff role at a lively izakaya (居酒屋 izakaya) just 1 minute from Inage Station on the JR lines, operated by Chimney Co., Ltd. On the floor you will guide customers to their seats, take orders on a handheld terminal, serve food and drinks, clear and reset tables, handle the register, and help with closing duties — building coordination, prioritisation, and interpersonal skills that translate directly into professional life. The store regularly hosts large group bookings and parties, so you will learn to work effectively as part of a fast-moving team. Shifts run from 10:00 to 03:00 (Japanese 翌3:00 notation), with a minimum of 3 hours from 1 day per week on a self-nomination shift system, making it easy to work around job-hunting interviews, university exams, or other commitments. A 40-hour training period (研修 kenshuu) with tutorial videos means no prior floor experience is needed. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are available for just 200 yen per meal. Daily payment (日払い hibarai), weekly payment (週払い shuubarai), and advance payment (前払い maebarai) are all available. Late-night shifts from 22:00 onward are restricted to applicants aged 18 and over (Japanese labour law). Minimum contract period of 3 months required.
