Job Description:
Work as hall staff (ホールスタッフ horu-sutaffu) at Hakata Ajidokoro Iroha, a popular Hakata-style hot pot restaurant in Kitashinchi, Osaka's upscale dining district, 3 minutes walk from Kitashinchi Station. The menu is course-based with hot pot (鍋 nabe) as the centrepiece — oden, mizutaki and sukiyaki feature — so there are fewer items to memorise compared to a typical izakaya. A manual is provided for all hot pot preparation steps. Hall duties include seating guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and preparing hot pot sets. Occasional kitchen assistance (following a simple manual) may be requested. Shifts run within the 17:00-00:00 window, with a minimum of 3 hours per shift and from 1 day per week, making it ideal for students, second-job holders, and those with variable availability. Shift requests are submitted via LINE every 15 days. Late-night shifts from 22:00 to 05:00 are for applicants aged 18 and over only (Japanese labour law, 省令2号). Pay is cash in hand (手渡し tewatashi). Staff meals (まかない makanai) are available after shifts. A training period of 1 to 3 months applies at 1,250 yen per hour. Appearance is free — hair colour, nails, piercings, and tattoos are permitted within reason. No resume required.
