Job Description:
This is a hall and kitchen role at Butayama (豚山), a popular jiro-style ramen shop just 1 minute walk from Sendai Station, known for its rich pork-bone broth and generous toppings. Hall staff handle seating, food ticket collection, ramen delivery, and table clearing. Kitchen staff handle ramen cooking, topping plating, and dishwashing. All orders are placed via ticket machines, so there is no cash handling or order-taking required. Experienced staff can progress to making the signature broth from scratch — a rewarding skill to develop. Training (研修 kenshuu) follows a step-by-step checklist from day one, with monthly evaluations and time wage increases as skills grow. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are available for just 1 yen per meal (rules apply), covering ramen, mazesoba, tsukemen, and seasonal options. An instant pay system (即払い sokubari) lets you request same-day payment via app. Shifts run from daytime through overnight (22:00-04:00). Late-night shifts (深夜手当 shinya-teate) start at 1,500 yen per hour from 22:00 and are for applicants aged 18 and over (Japanese labour law). Foreign applicants are welcome but must hold JLPT N3 or above.
