Job Description:

This is a hall staff role at Hana no Mai, a seafood izakaya (居酒屋 izakaya) inside the VAL Oyama station building, just 1 minute walk from JR Oyama Station. Duties include seating guests, taking orders via handheld terminal, serving food and drinks, table clearing and setup, cashier work, and closing duties. New starters begin with simple tasks like running food and clearing tables, with a senior staff member alongside for support. Shifts are fully self-declared (シフト制 shifuto-sei), from 1 day per week and 3 hours per shift — particularly well suited to university students balancing job-hunting appointments and classes. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are available at 200 yen per meal, and a 10% dining discount applies at all directly managed stores. Advance pay (前払い maebarai) is available: apply 3 business days in advance to receive that week's wages early. Late-night shifts (深夜手当 shinya-teate) from 22:00 onwards are limited to applicants aged 18 and over (Japanese labour law). Minimum contract period of 3 months.
