Job Description:

This is a hall service role at a traditional Japanese shrimp cracker specialty shop in Kanayama, Nagoya, which operates a fully reserved dining room, a Japanese tea cafe, and a souvenir shop across multiple floors. You will rotate daily between floors — serving set course meals (えび御膳 ebi-gozen) in the fully reserved dining room, preparing and serving shaved ice (かき氷 kakigori) and matcha in the relaxed cafe, and selling gift boxes of shrimp crackers (えびせんべい ebi-senbei) in the shop. Because the dining room is fully reserved and customer numbers are controlled, the pace is relaxed and unhurried — very different from a busy chain restaurant. The cafe is a beloved local institution, with many elderly regular customers who come to chat, making warm conversation a key part of the role. All shifts end by 18:30, so evenings remain free. This is a dispatch (派遣 haken) position placed through Dimple Co., Ltd. Five staff members work each day, so you are never left alone on the floor.
