Job Description:

This is a hall and kitchen staff role at Torikyou Shinjuku Sohonten, a yakitori and oden izakaya in Kabukicho, Shinjuku, open for its second-wave opening recruitment. Hall duties include greeting and seating guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, processing payments, and cleaning tables. Kitchen duties include simple cooking assistance — cutting ingredients, cooking oden and yakitori skewers, making drinks, plating, and washing up — with no difficult cooking techniques required. The workplace is lively and social, and all new hires at this stage join as a group, so you will have colleagues who started at the same time. Wages are paid cash in hand (手渡し tewatashi), so you receive your pay directly without waiting for a bank transfer. The evening shift (16:00-22:00) pays 1,400 yen per hour; the overnight shift (22:00-04:00) pays 1,750 yen per hour, which includes the statutory 25% late-night premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate). Hair colour, nail art, piercings, and personal style are all permitted. Free staff meals (まかない makanai) are provided. Late-night shifts after 22:00 are for applicants aged 18 and over only (Japanese labour law).

Wage:

1,400円 (per hour) Night shift ② (22:00-04:00): 1,750 yen per hour (includes 25% late-night premium 深夜手当 shinya-teate). Training period rate: 1,300 yen per hour (60-80 hours). Salary increase system available.
