Please confirm workplace location, payment method, shifts, and interview conditions directly with the employer before applying.

Job Description:
This is a hall staff role at Torisha Akatsuki, a charcoal-grilled yakitori izakaya in Higashi-Umeda, Osaka, known for its morning-fresh local chicken and warm, relaxed atmosphere. You will seat guests, take orders, make drinks, serve food, and handle payments — starting with whichever tasks you are comfortable with first. The shop has around 20 seats, so the pace is manageable and never overwhelming — a good fit for those who want izakaya experience without the chaos of a large chain restaurant. The owner-chef is described by current staff as easygoing and easy to talk to, and regulars are friendly and welcoming. The store is closed on Sundays, with year-end, New Year, and Obon holidays also off. Wages are paid cash in hand (手渡し tewatashi). After 22:00 the rate rises by 25% — from 1,250 yen to approximately 1,563 yen per hour (深夜手当 shinya-teate). Free staff meals are provided after each shift, and the owner takes requests for individual favourites. Hair colour, nail art, piercings, and personal style are all permitted. International students are welcome if daily conversational Japanese is possible. Late-night shifts after 22:00 are for applicants aged 18 and over only (Japanese labour law).
