Job Description:
Work as hall staff at Sandaime Amimoto Uosen Suisan, a seafood-focused izakaya in Natori, Miyagi, operated by Chimney Co., Ltd. The role is designed to be approachable for first-time workers: you start by guiding guests to seats and delivering food, then gradually take on order-taking using a handheld terminal (ハンディ端末 handi-tanmatsu), table clearing, cashier duties, and closing tasks. There is no pressure to be loud or perform — attentive, polite service is what the team values. The shift runs 16:00-24:00 (overnight) from as little as 3 hours a day, 1 day a week, with a self-reported shift system submitted 10 days in advance. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are available for just 200円 per meal, and a 10% dining discount applies at all group restaurants for you and accompanying guests. An advance payment (前払い maekini) system lets you receive that week's earnings by applying 3 business days before the payment date. Note: shifts after 22:00 are for applicants aged 18 and over only under Japanese labour law.
