Job Description:
This is a sales and service staff position at a long-established Tokyo Ginza-born Japanese sweets (和菓子 wagashi) shop inside Kawatoku department store in Morioka, Iwate. You will handle face-to-face customer service, cashier operations, product wrapping, shelf stocking, and store cleaning at the wagashi counter. The store carries traditional items such as daifuku and dorayaki made with seasonal ingredients, and is popular as a gift and ceremonial purchase destination. Two shift options are available — morning (09:15-17:45) or mid-day (10:45-19:45) — with no overtime, and you will always finish by 19:45 at the latest. An advance pay (前払い maebari) system lets you draw up to 70% of earned wages twice weekly every Tuesday and Friday, with no handling fee. Transportation allowance (交通費 koutsuuhi) is paid in full, and uniform (制服 seifuku) is provided (black shoes only are self-provided). No resume is required — registration is completed by phone in around 15 minutes with no in-person visit needed.
Wage:
1,350円～1,450円 (per hour)
Hourly rate varies between 1,350円 and 1,450円 based on experience and skill. Advance pay of up to 70% of earned wages available twice weekly (Tuesdays and Fridays, no fee). Remaining 30% paid on the 15th of the following month.
