Job Description:

This is a hall and kitchen staff position at Bamiyan Chinese family restaurant in Sendai's Ichibancho district, 3 minutes walk from Aoba-dori Ichibancho Station. Floor staff guide customers to seats, receive orders via the customer-operated touchscreen panel, serve food and drinks, handle the automatic register, and assist with general floor tidying. Kitchen staff start with dishwashing and cooking assistance, and are taught full cooking skills as they become more comfortable. A morning cleaning shift (08:00-10:00) is also available for those who prefer to finish early. Late-night shifts (22:00-24:00) pay 1,298円 and are available to those aged 18 and over only (Japanese labour law). An advance pay (前払い maebari) system lets you draw up to 70% of the previous day's wages the very next day via smartphone, with no charge fee for electronic money transfer. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are available at 356円 per meal (up to 2 per day), and a 25% group-wide dining discount voucher is issued 6 times per month (valid for up to 6 people per voucher).
