Job Description:

This is a sales and customer service position at a Western confectionery (洋菓子 yogashi) brand shop near Yokohama Station, 3 minutes walk from the JR and Keikyu lines entrance. You will handle face-to-face customer service, cashier operations, shelf stocking, inventory management, packaging, noshi (熨斗 noshi) gift wrapping, and store cleaning. On your first day a full training session is held at the company's headquarters, which includes a full-scale practice shop floor — you will try the products yourself, develop your own sales talk based on the tasting, and practice through role-play as both sales staff and customer. After store placement, a full-time employee is always on site to provide immediate support whenever needed. The schedule runs 5 days per week including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays on a shift system, with 2 rest days determined monthly — two shift patterns cover the full shop opening hours. Transportation allowance (交通費 koutsuuhi) is paid in full, and social insurance (社会保険 shakai-hoken) is fully covered. A Daimaru and Matsuzakaya 10% shopping discount is provided as a staff benefit.
