Job Description:

This is a hall staff position at a long-established sukiyaki and shabu-shabu restaurant on Kiyamachi Street in central Kyoto, accessible from Kyoto-Shiyakusho-mae Station on the Kyoto Municipal Subway Tozai Line. You will escort guests to private dining rooms, take orders, carry food and drinks, and assist with tableside cooking — preparing and serving sukiyaki, shabu-shabu, and oil-grilled dishes directly in front of guests. Staff wear traditional Japanese attire (和装 waso) on the floor, which is an uncommon and memorable experience for those new to hospitality work. Two shift options are available — 11:00-21:00 or 12:00-22:00 (each with 8 hours actual work and 2 hours break) — and weekend and public holiday rest days can be discussed. Daily payment (日払い hibarai) and weekly payment (週払い shuubarai) are both available, and no resume is required. Social insurance (社会保険 shakai-hoken) is provided per statutory requirements, and transportation allowance (交通費 koutsuuhi) is paid per company rules.
