Job Description:

This is a convenience store staff position at Lawson Uji Hinoshiri store in Uji city, Kyoto, 10 minutes walk from Kintetsu-Ogura Station on the Kintetsu Kyoto Line. You will handle cashier and customer service, product stocking and shelf arrangement, store cleaning, and simple food preparation including Machi Cafe and Machi Kitchen items — with more responsibilities such as product ordering available as you settle in. Two shift windows are available: early morning (06:00-10:00, at a slightly higher rate of 1,130円) and daytime (10:00-17:00), making this a morning and midday focused role with no late-night shifts currently open. Days and hours are fully negotiable, with both weekday-only and weekend-only arrangements possible, and working as few as 2 days per week is accepted. Training is provided with senior crew support, so first-timers and those with no convenience store experience can start confidently. Transportation allowance (交通費 koutsuuhi) is paid in full, and car, motorbike, and bicycle commuting are all permitted with on-site parking available.
