Job Description:

This is a kitchen support role at a seafood izakaya (居酒屋 izakaya) located inside Oyama Station building, one minute on foot from the station. You will start with easy tasks like plating and dishwashing (洗い場 araiba) before gradually picking up knife skills and basic cooking techniques useful in everyday life. Shifts run from morning through to early morning the next day, and a staff meal (まかない makanai) is included on every shift — great for saving on food costs. The shift system (シフト制 shifuto-sei) uses weekly submissions so you can fit work around classes, a second job, or family commitments with ease. You can work from as little as one day a week and three hours per shift, making this one of the most flexible schedules available locally. Late-night shifts after 22:00 are open to applicants aged 18 and over only (Japanese labour law). A minimum contract period of 3 months is required. No resume needed — come dressed as you normally would.
