Job Description:
This is a hall or kitchen role at a yakitori and kushikatsu izakaya (居酒屋 izakaya) with all-you-can-drink options, located five floors up in a building three minutes on foot from Hirose-dori Station in Sendai's Kokubuncho entertainment district. You choose either hall or kitchen based on your preference and suitability — hall staff handle seating guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, making drinks, and processing payments; kitchen staff assist with cooking prep, dishwashing using a machine, ingredient preparation, and plating. Shifts run from 14:00 through to 03:00 on Fridays, Saturdays, and public holiday eves, and training (研修 kenshuu) runs for one month at the same rate. Free staff meals (まかない makanai) are provided on every shift — a popular perk among the mostly student and 20s crowd working here. A late-night ride home arrangement (送迎 sougei) is available for staff finishing late shifts, and nail and piercing-friendly appearance rules apply. An advance payment system allows you to receive the previous month's earnings at the start of the month instead of waiting for the usual 20th payday. Note: applicants must be 20 or over due to the indoor smoking environment (Japanese passive smoking regulation).
Wage:
1,150円 (per hour)
Hall staff (freeters): 1,200 yen per hour. Kitchen staff: from 1,160 yen. Late-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate) applies from 22:00. Salary increase available once per month. Advance payment available (previous month's earnings paid at month start).
