Job Description:
This is a hall or kitchen role at Wakashachiya, a well-known curry udon chain selling over 940,000 bowls per year, located on the first floor of MEGA Don Quijote UNY Minokamo in Gifu, eight minutes on foot from Minokawai Station. Hall staff handle guest seating, order-taking, and serving; kitchen staff focus on ingredient preparation and plating — you choose which role suits you. A staff meal (まかない makanai) is available every shift for just 320 yen, including the signature curry udon at any spice level — popular among staff who want to keep food costs down. Shifts run 11:00-21:00 with a mid-afternoon break (15:00-17:00), no overtime, and a two-week schedule cycle so your plans stay predictable. Late-night hours after 22:00 carry a rate of 1,332 yen; year-end and New Year shifts (30 December to 3 January) add an extra 100 yen per hour on top of the base. Note: weekday-only availability is not accepted — must be able to work Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays.
