Job Description:
This is a hall and dishwashing role at Nii, a stylish 12-seat counter ramen restaurant three minutes on foot from Otsuka Station (Yamanote Line) in Toshima-ku, Tokyo. The restaurant uses a ticket machine (食券 shokken) so there is no cash handling, water is self-service, and soup and ingredient preparation is all done by the full-time chef — leaving hall and washing-up as the main staff responsibilities. The interior has a clean, cafe-like aesthetic quite unlike a typical ramen shop, making it welcoming for women and first-timers alike. Seating is counter-only with minimal floor movement. Two shift blocks are available: lunch 11:00-15:00 and dinner 17:00-22:00 — you choose one or both, and can start any time within each block down to as little as 2 hours. Shifts are submitted via LINE. Pay is cash in hand (手渡し tewatashi). A free staff meal (まかない makanai) is provided and takeaway is allowed — options include ramen, pasta, fried chicken, and more. The fastest salary increase (100 yen per hour) on record happened after just one month. Closed Tuesdays.
