Job Description:

This is a kitchen role at a Japanese restaurant five minutes on foot from Tokyo Station in Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, covering a range of cooking tasks in a calm, upscale dining setting. Duties include preparing fresh fish (including filleting), fried dishes, and grilled items — a variety of techniques typical of a full Japanese kitchen. Full-time chefs and experienced part-timers are on hand to teach, so those new to professional cooking can build skills steadily. The shift runs 17:00-22:30, 5.5 hours, any day of the week — from 2 days per week on a shift schedule flexible enough to fit study or a second job. A staff meal (まかない makanai) is available at 300 yen per shift, and an additional daily allowance of 800 yen is included on top of the hourly rate.
