Job Description:

Work as kitchen staff or in the dishwashing area at Rakuzo Utsunomiya Ikegami, a stylish izakaya (居酒屋) run by Daiichi Kosho, a major entertainment and dining corporation also known for Big Echo karaoke. The restaurant is a lively, sociable workplace with staff across all ages — 10s through 50s — and a team known for being friendly and welcoming to newcomers. Kitchen staff assist with cooking and dish preparation; dishwashing staff handle used plates and glassware. Shifts start from just 3 hours and 1 day a week, making it easy to combine with school, a second job (ダブルワーク daburu-waaku), or a busy personal schedule. Training (研修 kenshuu) is provided from scratch, so no experience is needed. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are available for 200 yen per meal. Late-night shifts from 22:00 onward carry a 25% wage increase (深夜手当 shinya-teate) — these shifts are open to applicants aged 18 and over only (Japanese labour law). Advance pay is available on request (subject to conditions). Salary is reviewed monthly with an average increase of 20 yen per review — up to 12 opportunities per year.
