Job Description:

Work at Marugame Seimen Mito, an open-kitchen udon restaurant operated by Toridoll Holdings — one of Japan's most recognised udon chains, with outlets across the country. The role combines hall service and kitchen work in an open-counter style: you take orders, cook or assist with cooking udon in full view of customers, and hand dishes directly across the counter. Other positions include frying tempura, preparing rice dishes (inari and donburi), register work, and dishwashing — you work across multiple stations as you become confident. Shifts cover the full day from 08:30 to 23:00 (00:00 on Fridays and Saturdays). Hours start from 3 hours and 2 days a week, with flexible scheduling around school, childcare, or other jobs. Weekday and weekend schedules are both welcome. A minimum contract period of 3 months applies. Training (研修 kenshuu) is provided with no change in pay during the training period. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are available — items up to 800 yen can be eaten for just 120 yen. A 25% staff discount applies at all Toridoll Group restaurants (Marugame Seimen, Konaz Coffee, Makino Tempura, Zundoba Ramen, Ton-ichi Tonkatsu, Banpaiya standing bar, and others), extendable to family and friends. Wage:

1,150円 (per hour) Late-night allowance (深夜手当 shinya-teate): 25% increase from 22:00. Weekend and public holiday wage increase available. Salary increases (昇給 shoushou). Note: 22:00 onward is for applicants aged 18 and over only (Japanese labour law).
