Job Description:

Work at Hamamatsu Hormon Sakaba Monmon, a yakiniku and hormone specialty izakaya (居酒屋) in central Hamamatsu, known for its relaxed atmosphere and a clientele of mostly calm, mature regulars — a good fit for those who find typically noisy restaurants off-putting. New staff begin with clearing and setting tables, washing dishes, and making drinks, then progress through serving food and drinks, taking new orders, and eventually full cooking. The store uses a three-step onboarding (研修 kenshuu) approach so nothing is rushed. Staff meals (まかない makanai) include off-menu specials created by the kitchen team — not available to customers. Shifts start from just 2 hours and 1 day a week, submitted every two weeks on a self-declaration basis. Weekend-only schedules are possible. Hair colour, piercings, nails, and beard are all permitted. A uniform (制服 seifuku) is provided. Note: training rate of 1,100 yen/hour applies for the first 50 hours; the full rate of 1,300 yen/hour begins after that.
