Job Description:

Work as a kitchen support staff member at a chanko (ちゃんこ) Japanese hot-pot restaurant located on the 5th floor of APA Hotel Nagoya Sakae-Ekimae EXCELLENT, in the heart of Nagoya's Sakae entertainment district. Chanko is the hearty, protein-rich hot-pot dish traditionally eaten by sumo wrestlers, and this restaurant serves it in a calm, traditional Japanese dining atmosphere — ideal for those interested in washoku (和食 Japanese cuisine). Kitchen support duties include preparing cooking utensils and tableware before service, washing up, clearing the kitchen, and assisting cooking staff during lunch (11:30-14:30) and dinner (17:00-22:00) service. Applicants with prior restaurant or kitchen experience are especially welcome, though beginners with a genuine interest in cooking are also encouraged to apply.
