Job Description:

Work at Akiyoshi Ueno, a well-known yakitori (焼き鳥) chain restaurant originally founded in Fukui in 1959 and now with over 100 locations nationwide, located 2 minutes from Ueno Station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line — in the POKKE building on the Ueno-Okachimachi central shopping street. Hall staff welcome guests, guide them to seats, serve food and drinks, operate the register, and clean. Kitchen staff handle food preparation and cooking assistance, drink preparation, dishwashing, and cleaning. The team culture is lively and social — most staff start without experience, and the store is known for a friendly, easygoing atmosphere with staff sharing meals together after shifts. Shifts run 16:00-22:30 on weekends and 17:00-23:00 on weekdays, from 4 hours and 1 day per week on a weekly self-submission schedule. Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and public holiday shifts carry a +100-yen-per-hour bonus. Hours from 22:00 carry a 25% deep-night premium (深夜手当 shinya-teate) — this makes 22:00-23:00 on weekday shifts 1,625 yen/hour. Pay can be received same-day in cash up to 5,000 yen (現金手渡し tewatashi). Wage:
