Job Description:

This is a hall and kitchen staff role at Sushiro (スシロー), a major conveyor belt sushi (回転寿司 kaiten-zushi) chain, at their Hiroshima Funairi location in Naka-ku. The restaurant uses automated ordering, plate-counting cameras, and self-checkout registers, so the work is efficient and well-suited to beginners. Hall duties include guiding guests to seats, serving drinks and dishes, and handling payment. Kitchen duties include washing dishes, assisting with toppings, and helping with rice preparation using the automatic shari (シャリ) machine. Shifts (シフト制 shifuto-sei) are submitted every one to two weeks, making it easy to work around school, exams, or family commitments. Weekend-only schedules are welcome. A 30% staff meal discount (食事補助 shokuji-hosho) applies on working days, and those clocking 80+ hours a month receive nationwide discount vouchers. Advance payment (前払い maebarai) is available under the salary advance system. High school students and those under 18 may work until 22:00 only under Japanese labour law.

Wage:

1,200円 (per hour) Late-night rate (22:00 onwards): 1,500円 (general) / 1,438円 during training. Weekend and public holiday premium: 50円 per hour above base. Training period (60 hours): general 1,150円, 22:00 onwards 1,438円, high school students 1,100円. Salary increase system available.
