Job Description:

This is a hall and kitchen support role at Mendou Sakaba Yorozu, a small, casual izakaya (居酒屋 izakaya) inside the yatai-mura (屋台村 yataimura) food stall village at Utsunomiya Station East Exit, Tochigi, a 5-minute walk from the station. Hall duties include learning the menu and table numbers, cleaning, guiding guests to seats, serving dishes, and clearing tables. Once you settle in, you will also prepare drinks and assist with simple cooking such as plating and ingredient prep. The restaurant has a small number of seats, making it easier to manage even for first-timers. Three shift slots are available: 18:00-22:00, 18:00-00:00 (overnight), and 00:00-06:00 (overnight). Late-night shifts from 22:00 attract a significantly higher rate of 1,625 yen per hour. Shifts start from 3 hours and 1 day per week, with bimonthly (half-monthly) schedule submission. Staff meals (まかない makanai) are provided. No trial period applies. Parking costs are covered for those commuting by car. Hair colour, nail art, piercing, beard, and tattoos (on covered skin) are all permitted. Transportation is not reimbursed, but parking costs are paid separately for car commuters.

Wage:

1,300円 (per hour) Late-night rate (22:00 onwards): 1,625円. Salary increase available.
