Rather than a single employer, Granseeds introduces you to restaurants, izakaya, cafes, hotels, and other food service venues that match your schedule, experience, and preferences. Hall work covers welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, clearing tables, handling payment, and dishwashing. Kitchen work covers cooking assistance, prep work, or specialist roles depending on your background. The biggest draw is same-day cash payment (手渡し tewatashi) — wages are handed over at the venue at the end of each shift, with no need to visit the agency office or wait for a bank transfer. Single-day spot work is available from the day of registration. Shift times vary by venue and can include morning, lunch, dinner, or overnight slots. Experience in specialist areas (sushi, teppan, patisserie, sommelier, bread-making, bartending) may lead to rates above the listed base.
