Job Description:

This is an automotive parts picking and sorting role at a distribution facility of a company with over 70 years of history in Kuragauchi, Ibaraki City, Osaka, a 16-minute walk from Minami-Ibaraki Station on the Hankyu Kyoto Main Line, or 2 minutes from the Kuragauchi bus stop. Tasks include picking automotive parts using a handheld scanner and trolley, sorting by delivery route, and placing sorted goods into collapsible containers. Parts range from hand-sized items to those exceeding 1 metre, weighing up to 25kg — trolleys are used throughout, but some lifting is involved. Around 10 staff work the same operation, with senior colleagues and company staff on hand to answer questions. The shift runs 09:00-18:00 with 90 minutes of breaks (7.5 hours actual work). Days off are Sundays, public holidays, and one day per week on a shift basis. A minimum of 4 days per week is required. Overtime is around 10 hours per month and can be declined on request. Long GW, Obon, and year-end holidays are available. An advance payment (前払い maepayment) system lets staff receive earned wages before payday (company rules apply). Overtime rate is 1,625 yen per hour for work beyond 8 actual hours. Work uniform and safety shoes are required — uniform is provided free; safety shoes must be brought by the worker. Minimum contract period is 3 months.
