Please confirm workplace location, payment method, shifts, and interview conditions directly with the employer before applying.
Job Description:
Work as hall or kitchen staff at Hidakaya (日高屋), a popular Chinese restaurant chain known for ramen, gyoza, and other affordable Chinese dishes. The Utsunomiya Terrace branch is just 1 minute walk from Utsunomiya Station, in a busy commuter location. Hall staff serve food and drinks and handle cashier duties using a tablet ordering system - customers place their own orders at the table, so mistakes and rush calls are minimal. Kitchen staff prepare ramen, gyoza, and other dishes; a dedicated wok training (中華鍋研修 chuukanabe-kenshuu) programme helps you build real cooking skills from scratch. Shifts run on a free shift system (シフト制 shifuto-sei) from 09:45 through to 01:00 overnight - late shifts attract a higher deep-night rate (深夜 shinya). Staff meals (まかない makanai) are provided, and appearance rules are relaxed - any hair colour or style is fine during off-hours (hat required while working). Part-time staff receive a bonus (賞与 shouyo) twice a year in January and July, and wages are reviewed four times a year with up to 400 yen increase possible. A minimum contract of 3 months is preferred, though short-term starters are also welcome.
Wage:

Late-night rate (深夜手当 shinya-teate): 1,438円 for closing shifts. Weekend/holiday bonus (土日祝手当): +50円 per hour 10:00-22:00 on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Salary review (昇給 shoukyuu) 4 times per year; up to +400円 total increase. Bonus (賞与 shouyo) twice yearly (January and July) based on hours worked.
